Hello again! So...to anyone who knows me, knows that I LOVE drawing people. In fact, drawings of faces take up most of the pages of my sketchbook. Once I got more and more comfortable drawing realistic faces, I started getting into caricatures. I fell in love with this type of portraiture. So, I was extremely excited when I had to do a caricature in my Humor in Art class. Here it is! Guess who!
Hello everyone! I'm really excited to be apart of the world of blogging and thanks for visiting!
As I was driving to school this morning, I was trying to think of something to share with all of you to launch my new blog. As I was thinking about it, this old man drove right past me on an itty bitty motor scooter. This made me chuckle, because not only was his scooter so tiny, but he was driving it on the highway. I immediately wanted to grab my sketchbook and draw a cartoon about it. Don't panic. I figured it would be wise to not do that while I was driving, so I decided against it.
I love goofy moments like this because it gives me such great ideas to sketch. In fact, that's what I'm doing right now. I'll post it soon, but until then, check out where my Little Mermaid and Rudolph pieces were recently published!
I am a freelance illustrator in the Harrisburg area. I work both traditionally and digitally. I love cartoons, drawing goofy faces, doodling and children's book illustrations. Thank you for visiting my blog and I would love to hear from you!
